What is Centrex?

C3Call centrex features are normally found only in Class 5 switch architecture. It provides the entire calling features & call control capabilities found in national PSTNs. The following subset of Centrex features are now offered to VAPP subscribers at unbelievable bundled rates of just US$0.15 or US$0.25 per day:

  1. Call Waiting – alerts the users to incoming calls when the user’s line is engaged on an established call. Upon hearing the Call Waiting tone, the called party can put the current conversation on hold to answer the incoming call.
  2. Caller ID – allows the user to identify the name & telephone number of a calling party before answering an incoming call.
  3. Call Forwarding – automatically routes incoming calls to a given extension or telephone number under a variety of circumstances. Such as Call Forwarding when Busy, Call Forwarding when there is No answer after a specific time or rings & Call Forwarding to multiple Simultaneous extensions or telephone numbers.
  4. Voice Mails – allow callers to record a voice message for users to retrieve at a later date. With option to notify and retrieve via email.
  5. Conference Call within network (ON-NET) subscribers – allow users to add third party to an existing conversation for other ON-NET subscribers.
  6. Conference Call between ON-NET & OFF-NET subscribers – allow users to add third party from OFF-NET telephone number.
  7. Call Transfer – transfers an existing call to another party (inside or outside the Centrex group).
